Platform engineering teams are stretched thin — the Kubernetes ecosystem spans GitOps, security, observability, cost, and networking, yet most platforms are maintained by a small team that becomes the bottleneck for every decision. APEX (Agentic Platform Engineering eXperience) applies AI agents across the full lifecycle: designing architectures, generating guardrail-validated Terraform, and diagnosing live operational issues — all steered by expert-authored SKILL.md files that encode best practices rather than generic output. In this session, we'll demonstrate how a progressive permission model expands from read-only to autonomous operation as trust builds. Attendees will leave with a practical framework for introducing agentic workflows without sacrificing human oversight or operational discipline.
